Mentor a youth
Men and women who love the outdoors guide kids through safety, respect for wildlife, and the first harvest.
How mentoring works@futurehunteralliance
Too many young people never get asked. Future Hunter Alliance pairs kids who need a path with outdoor mentors who take them hunting—first harvests, real skills, and life principles that stick.
Born in Iowa whitetail country. Built for every kid who never got invited.
What we do
We connect youth—especially kids who never got invited to hunt, and kids who need a better path— with hunting and outdoors role models. Mentors take kids hunting. Landowners open gates. Communities pass on gear. Everyone builds the next generation of ethical hunters.

How mentoring worksFarmers and landowners host youth hunts—smart deer management paired with opportunity for kids who need it.
Partner your landFirearms, bows, rods, optics, clothing, stands, and more—gear that sits in a garage can put a kid in the field.
Donate gearWhy it matters
Hunting traditions often travel through family and friendship. When nobody asks, a young person never learns the woods, never feels the weight of a first harvest, never hears the quiet lessons about patience, responsibility, and respect.
We’re building a movement where every kid who wants a chance gets one— mentors, land, and gear working together.Read our story
